Containerized Fire Water Pump Set

Neste’s Porvoo refinery has a total production capacity of approximately 13.5 million tons a year and has a terminal storage capacity of almost 8 million m³. It is the largest port in Finland in terms of tonnage, with about 1,100–1,400 ships a year calling. To protect her terminal, Neste was looking for a fire water pump set that could withstand the harsh conditions (ambient temperature -27 up till +25°C) and provide fire fighting capability within a range of 120 meters.

Hydrodiesel has delivered a containerized fire pump set with roof mounted, remote controlled fire water monitor with a throw length of 130m and height 40m.

One (1) Containerized (20ft) diesel driven fire water pump set, comprising of:
• Fire pump controller
• Redundant electric starting system
• Fuel system with tank
• Integrated cooling water system
• Engine exhaust system
• Ventilation system for room cooling and combustion air intake
• Foam mixing system 1-3%
• Remote controlled fire monitor (20.000 lpm)
• Factory acceptance test with site start-up, commissioning, and training activities
