Project description
The FPSO Lewek EMAS is one of the largest FPSOs in Vietnam and has been chartered by Premier Oil Vietnam Offshore BV to develop the Chim Sáo field offshore Vietnam. At a later stage the FPSO will be connected to the Dua oil and gas field as well.
For this project we successfully tested and delivered a Fire Water Pump System with a capacity of 2000 m³/h. The system consists of hydrostatic driven lift pump, supplying water to the booster pump. The booster pump set, located on deck in an A60 fire rated offshore enclosure, increases the pressure and supply of fire water to the fire water ring main. The control philosophy is designed for full autonomous operation. Design, construction and testing according to the requirements of ABS and NFPA-20 is all done in-house.
