Hydrostatic Fire Water Pump System

Project description

The Gaza FSO replaces the Sloug FSO, which started production at the Bourifield in 1988, which is located offshore Libya in the NC-41 block. The field is operated by ENI (30%) in partnership with state-owned National Oil Corporation (70%), with the two partners jointly setting up MellitahOil and Gas Company to manage the field.

For this project we successfully tested and delivered a Fire Water Pump System with a capacity of 1000 m³/h. The system consists of a hydraulic driven booster pump, installed below the water line, delivering water to the fire ring main. The control philosophy is designed for full autonomous operation. Design, construction and testing according to the requirements of DNV and NFPA-20 is all done in-house.
