PTO Driven Fi-Fi I System

Project description

French shipyard Chantiers Piriou has delivered four Fast Support and Intervention Vessels (FSIV) for Bourbon Offshore, a company providing maritime support, subsea and offshore passenger transport services. The vessels are intended for fast transportation of personnel and cargo and are equipped with an external fire fighting system according to Class I.

Equipped with high speed marine propulsion engines, Hydrodiesel has designed and delivered a space and weight saving direct drive pump solution, operated by a pneumatic clutch.

Scope of supply:
Four (4) PTO driven Fi-Fi I systems, each comprising of:

  • 2x Fire water pump with pneumatic clutch (1500 m³/h)
  • 2x Remote controlled, electric fire water monitor (1200 m³/h)
  • 1x Deluge sprinkling system
  • 1x Bridge control panel
  • Factory acceptance test with commissioning activities
