NuStar’s petroleum terminal at Grays is near the river Thames since the 1960’s. The terminal has a total of 53 tanks, with a storage capacity of 311,000 m³ covering a variety of petroleum-based products. Due to new regulatory requirements for improved levels of tank protection, the terminal identified the need for significantly greater fire pump capacity.

To protect the terminal in case of fire, Hydrodiesel has delivered a skid mounted fire water pump set with sufficient capacity to meet the new regulatory requirements.

• Steel fabricated base frame with hoisting points and fuel tank for four hours of operation
• Integrated water-cooled cooling system
• Local control panel
• Factory acceptance test and site instruction training for operators
